Comparison

ChatGPT vs Claude for Business Owners

Both are good enough that the wrong choice will not hurt your business. The difference shows up in daily use: ChatGPT has the wider ecosystem and better repeat-task tooling, Claude writes and edits in a way that needs less rework.

Short answer

ChatGPT for breadth and repeatable task automation. Claude for writing quality and long documents. If you only pay for one, pick based on whether you mostly draft or mostly edit.

What I use: I pay for both, and if forced to choose I would keep Claude, because editing badly written drafts is the task I do most. For a business automating repeatable output, ChatGPT is the safer single choice.
