About
Chris G Jones
I'm Chris G Jones. I build and work with companies across tax relief, AI, websites, automation and business systems. This site is where I share the tools I use, the systems I trust and the companies I'm building.
What I do
I build and run companies that solve unglamorous problems: businesses missing tax relief they're entitled to, enquiries going unanswered, and jobs being tracked on whiteboards and memory. None of that is exciting. All of it is where the money leaks.
Across those businesses I've ended up with a fairly opinionated view of software. Most tools are fine. Most stacks are a mess. The difference between a business that scales and one that stalls is rarely the tools — it's whether anyone designed the handovers between them.
How I think about tools
A tool has to do one of three things: make money, save time, or reduce risk. If it does none of those in a way you can point at, it's a hobby. I'd rather run five tools well than twenty badly, and I've paid the tuition fee for learning that.
Why this site exists
People kept asking what I use. Rather than repeating myself, I built a public record: the tools, the services, the workflows and the companies, with the commercial relationships declared on every page. If I benefit from a recommendation, you'll see it said out loud.
What you won't find here
No guaranteed outcomes, no revenue screenshots, no pretending a subscription is a strategy. UK business is hard enough without someone selling you certainty.
