Workflow

My review generation workflow

Great work produces no reviews because nobody asks at the right moment.

The outcome

A consistent flow of Google reviews tied to job completion.

The steps

  1. Tie the ask to completion

The trigger is sign-off, not a monthly reminder.

  2. Ask in person first

Thirty seconds on site, then the link arrives by text.

  3. Send one link, one action

Direct Google review link, no menu of options.

  4. One polite reminder

Three days later, once, then stop.

  5. Respond to every review

Including the bad ones, briefly and without argument.

  6. Reuse the good ones

Quote them on service pages and in proposals.

Where this usually goes wrong

  • Asking weeks after completion
  • Sending a review request to the wrong contact
  • Multiple reminders that irritate good customers
  • Ignoring negative reviews
